Tom Jordan, BSc (Hons) BArch, RIBA

Tom received his undergraduate and graduate degrees at Cardiff University and completed his training as an Architect at University College London.

Before joining Smith Caradoc-Hodgkins Architects he worked for a number of practices in the north east USA gaining experience in a variety of sectors, including public buildings, residential developments and furniture design, across the USA and the Middle East.

With the practice Tom has worked primarily on redevelopments of complex existing buildings across London. Upon joining SCH Tom worked on a film studio’s new office based in Soho London.  He was Project Architect for St. Martin’s Courtyard Phase C during construction.  He was significantly involved in the pre-contract stages of Sanctum Soho Hotel and St Martin’s Courtyard Phase E, Covent Garden. Currently he leads teams working on the design, planning and construction of a large office refurbishment in Central London and a number of residential developments.

He is interested in the thorough technical detailing of projects and the legibility of space, both from a macro to a micro scale.
