Ian is a Brighton University civil engineering graduate with over twenty years experience working within the structural and civil engineering industry. He is highly motivated and enthusiastic, with proven management and communication skills, working within budgetary, time and headcount constraints to achieve results. He has been Head of
SCHA Structures since 2007.
Ian has vast experience in the industry working on projects throughout the UK, Europe and Middle East with project values up to £200m. His experience covers refurbishments, multi-storey buildings, new build projects, building structure assessments, foundations, Railtrack and LUL projects. Ian specialises in Piers, modular construction, glass design, costal buildings and structures, waterfront developments, large refurbishments and sustainability projects.
