Geoff received his undergraduate degree from Birmingham School of Architecture and a Masters in Architecture and Interiors from The Royal College of Art.He completed his training at Westminster University.
Before joining Smith Caradoc-Hodgkins, he worked for a medium sized practice in Bath for two years. Here he was able to work with a range of building types:commercial and office developments and several existing buildings including local landmark buildings, some listed and others in areas of historical sensitivity.
Geoff’s interests are centred on how architecture is developed in the dense city landscape and how we can use the evolving urban context to shape new interventions. At Smith Caradoc-Hodgkins he has had the chance to develop these ideas through several feasibility master planning presentations for large mixed use developments such as
Garfield House in London,
Auckinlech House in Birmingham and
Furnival House in Sheffield.
