SCH’s Managing Director in the Middle East, Foaud has extensive experience designing award winning large scale projects.
Educated at the University of Bath, Fouad has worked on a variety of international projects ranging in scale from a 75 sqm. Jewellery store in Jeddah to a 90,000 sqm. mixed use complex in Kazakhstan.
His pursuit of a relevant architecture that engages the physical, social and cultural context has led to several competition wins in Canada, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon and high profile projects such as V gardens, a high end gated residential community in Angola, exhibited at the 2009 MIPIM Awards in Cannes.
Projects Fouad is currently working on include the Administration Building for the Red Sea Gateway Terminal and a 20 storey corporate office building complex with an energy efficient double skin facade.
Fouad received the Sir Basil Spence Award in 1993 and is the co-author of Modernism Without Rhetoric (Academy Editions, 1997).
